We had no idea all the things that God had in store for us in 2021- a house and a baby. I shared in this post that we have been in a season of waiting for most of the last year. With Tim on the hunt for a job and having an offer on a house fall through, we were learning very personally the meaning of patience.
Something we didn’t share in that post is that we had also started trying to conceive and grow our family. Again, we learned to wait as month after month the test came back negative. But in January, after what felt like more than a year, we fell in love with a house and went under contract. And to our surprise, later that week we took a pregnancy test and found out we are having a baby!
The start of 2021 has been filled with surprises. We have started renovating our new home and the first trimester of pregnancy has kept me on the couch most days, but let the adventure begin!
We can’t wait to meet you in September and welcome you into your new home, Baby McHugh!
