Featured: A Modern Mountain Home in Park City

We have made it to the end of another long week and all I want to do is relax! I spent some downtime browsing Pinterest inspiration and stumbled upon this GORGEOUS mountain home by Studio McGee Interiors and I think I’m obsessed. This is not the first time I have fallen in love with one of their creations either! If you don’t follow this team you definitely should! Syd, her husband, and their team are a bunch of extremely talented designers who know how to perfectly mix and match textures and tones to create stunning interiors that make your jaw drop. If you don’t believe me, take a look!

This showstopper kitchen makes me second guess having a gourmet kitchen! I have always gone back and forth on home ownership, personally. I know there is so much upkeep to owning a home and especially one as large as this. I am quite happy with my tiny 2 bedroom apartment at the moment, but I have to acknowledge how beautiful this kitchen is and how amazing it must be to cook and entertain in it! The beautiful black cabinets and gold accents give me ALL the feels! Mixed with a crisp white subway tile and wood accents, I don’t think it could get anymore perfect. When I stumbled across the kitchen on Pinterest I thought the inspiration would end there, but it didn’t!

The rest of the house is filled with natural lighting and muted hues and creates the feeling of an oasis in the mountains. Though I am a city girl at heart, I love how the design plays to the natural surroundings through a custom millwork focal piece to hold firewood and the antlers mounted above the fireplace. This space is well worth a feature, and if you’re in love with it as much as I am, head over to the Studio McGee Blog to see the full post!

Love the black, white and wood tones…the (Turkish?) rugs just a touch of warmth and color.
