Typically setting up the Christmas tree in my family means going to the attic. It usually begins with dragging that big box out of the corner before dusting off the tree and giving it the annual “fluff”. I have great memories of fighting with my sister over who had to pull the branches a part. If you know anything about fake trees, they sure do make you itchy! There are definitely pros and cons to fake Christmas trees.
In my opinion there really is no right answer. We decided to switch things up this year and head to a local Christmas tree farm for a little adventure. We got bundled up, checked online for one nearby, and grabbed our camera! Lucky for us we were a little late to the party 🙂 Haha! We found the lot filled with little trees and no other shoppers so we had some fun taking pictures together before chopping down our selection.
It is now sitting in our living room covered in lights and I love it! Its definitely a unique tree in comparison to those that you buy at tree lots in the city. Thinner leaves and a brighter color green! What kind of Christmas tree do you guys prefer? I have yet to find a favorite and I think we will have to play heads or tales next year to decide 🙂
