Happy Saturday friends! It’s hard to believe August is almost over and the days of summer are quickly coming to an end. Here in Florida its been pretty muggy, but Tim and I have been trying to make it a purpose to get outside more. Our trip earlier this year was definitely an incredible reminder of the beauty we have around us. It doesn’t take leaving the country to enjoy it! After we got back we purchased new bicycles and on the weekends its been nice to head to the park with my new favorite linen blanket and enjoy a little bit of reading and lounging in the sun.

The newly finished park near our house is the perfect spot to hangout with friends. We pack picnics, and even just lounge a round for awhile. In one of my recent internet scrolls I stumbled upon this Linen Blanket from So Linen on Etsy. At first I was completely unaware of the beauty of linen and hadn’t even heard of it. I am a self confessed blanket addict myself, but most of my blankets are super fuzzy and not the best for outdoor use so I was intrigued to try out this new and trendy fabric for myself!

And let me tell you… I think I’m in love! When I first received the package I was pleasantly surprised at the overall feel of the material. It was relatively soft to the touch in comparison to the scratchy affect I was expecting. I threw it in the wash and decided to pack it on our trip to Europe back in May and put it to the test. Fast forward a little and I am completely blown away. The linen fabric makes the blanket lightweight while also maintaining both warmth and air circulation.

Tim and I prefer opposite things when it comes to sleep: he likes a thin blanket and the fan on, and I like to be suffocatingly wrapped in warm blankets no matter the time of year lol. I say that to say we both love this blanket and will be investing in a linen duvet cover because of it! Yay for keeping everyone happy ๐Ÿ™‚

Do yourself a favor and hop on over to So Linen’s Shop and grab yourself a linen piece of your own. They carry everything from blankets to duvets, pillow cases and even napkins. Trust me you won’t regret it! Use the code “MONIQUE10” for 10% off of your purchase now until September 27th! Also be sure to stop back here and let me know what you think for yourself. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Love the photo and curious about the blanket, since the experience I have had with linen is that it wrinkles easily…did you hang this to dry or put it in the dryer?

I put it in the dryer! If I fold right after it stays pretty wrinkle free ๐Ÿ™‚
