I have been loving going back to the basics with my wardrobe lately! There is just something about transitioning into spring with versatile pieces like this simple white v-neck t-shirt. When you have the right basics its so easy to throw them on with some nice heels, sunglasses, and accessories. I am a firm believer in splurging on accessories as they can bring so much to an outfit, and instead saving on many of the clothing pieces in my closet!

In this case I opted to save some bucks by picking up these distressed black denim pants that are under $20! You can find them HERE with some similar options HERE, HERE, and HERE. I paired those with this simple white tee HERE but of course you can get one pretty much anywhere! The important thing with white tees is to find a good balance between breath ability while not being see through!

If you love a simple outfit as much as I do, I would definitely recommend picking up some basic pieces for spring! Things like white tees, good denim and jackets never go out of style and can transition with you from one season to the next! Who doesn’t love a comfortable outfit that is perfect to wear anywhere? I definitely do!

Thanks so much for reading! Let me know your favorite pieces for spring in the comments below. I am on the hunt for the best basics to fill my closet this season 🙂

I am not sure if it can still be considered part of an “in” wardrobe but I am enjoying my recent purchase of a distressed denim jacket. It seems to be just the right weight for spring weather and it makes a good piece for a layered look and has become a basic for me this spring.
